Community Dialogue Project

Hola! My name is Emiliano Juárez and I’m a sophomore studying International & Public Affairs, and Economics. I’m from Westchester, NY, and I enjoy playing violin and singing with the Mariachi Ositos de Brown 🐻.

How are we able to reconcile relationships with those we disagree with? 
We must humanize our different experiences, and be able to understand that our lives are shaped by the environments we grew up in. Empathizing with each other is also very important, since it brings out feelings of truly understanding where the other person is coming from. And whenever we do reconcile those relationships, you are able to connect deeper with the person you disagree with, and you feel good too.
