The Community Dialogue Project (CDP) provides educational programs and resources that build relationships and advance open inquiry across differences in identities, histories, backgrounds, experiences, and beliefs.
As part of the Division of Campus Life, the CDP was founded in 2019 following the successful pilot of the Transformative Justice Initiative, the first program of its kind in the nation. The need and potential for productive community dialogue have grown in the years since the inception of the Community Dialogue Project.
The CDP co-sponsors speakers and events focused on dialogue and open inquiry, assesses programs and develops workshops/interventions in response to student development data collected in other areas.
