Community Dialogue Project

Hi! My name is Shamariah and I am a Brown Student studying Africana Studies and Modern Culture and Media. I am from Dallas Tx, and I really enjoy all forms of art ranging from music to design, like a jack of all trades.

What does dialogue mean to you?

I’ve come to learn that dialogue is what helps the world move. It’s a tool that allows us to connect with each other while also having the capacity to do great harm. To me, dialogue is a skill we must learn and a gift that takes time to understand. It's been the determining factor in a lot of pivotal moments in my life.
